Anthornis adalah sebuah genus burung dalam famili pengisap madu (Meliphagidae). Anggotanya dikenal sebagai burung lonceng. Secara genetik, genus ini adalah takson saudara dari Prosthemadera.[2]

Namanya demikian karena bunyi panggilan mereka mirip lonceng. Burung jantan muda mengikuti panggilan jantan di sekitarnya yang lebih tua. Terkadang, dua jantan dapat bernyanyi hampir secara unison sempurna karena salah satunya sudah mengikuti yang lainnya dengan sangat baik.
