AD Leonis (Gliese 388) adalah bintang katai merah. Jaraknya relatif dekat Matahari, dengan jarak sekitar 16 tahun cahaya, di konstelasi Leo. AD Leonis adalah bintang deret utama dengan klasifikasi spektrum M3.5V.[14] Ini adalah bintang suar yang mengalami peningkatan luminositas secara acak.[15][16]
