Coprinus là một chi nấm trong họ Agaricaceae, thuộc bộ Agaricales. Loài điển hình của chi này là nấm Coprinus comatus. Loài này cùng với C. sterquilinus và C. spadiceisporus đại diện cho tên của cả chi nấm.[2]
