Backhendl

Backhendl hay Wiener Backhendl là một món ăn đặc sản của Viên từ thế kỷ 18. Món này gồm các miếng thịt gà đã được ướp gia vị, sau đó tẩm bột và chiên ngập dầu,[1] thường được ăn kèm với một lát chanh.[2]

Vào thời kỳ Biedermeier, Backhendl được xem là món ăn cao cấp trong nền ẩm thực Viên, chỉ dành cho giới quý tộc và người khá giả.[3]
