Ang DYVL (819 AM) Aksyon Radyo ay isang himpilan ng radyo na pagmamay-ari at pinamamahalaan ng MBC Media Group. Ang estudyo at transmiter nito ay matatagpuan sa kahabaan ng PNP Rd. cor. Maharlika Highway, Brgy. Campetic, Palo, Leyte.[1][2][3][4]

Kasaysayan

Itinatag ang DYVL noong Oktubre 17, 1957 bilang isang rehiyonal na himpilan ng DZRH . Noong 1972, isinara ito dahil sa Batas Militar, ngunit bumalik ito sa ere pagkatapos ng isang taon bilang Sunshine City. Noong 1978,limipat ang talapihitang ito mula 800 kHz sa kasalukuyang 819 kHz. Noong 1991, naging Radyo Balita ito. Noong 1998, muli ito inilunsad sa ilalim ng Aksyon Radyo.

Noong 2013, nawala ito sa ere pagkatapos nung nawasak ng Bagyong Yolanda, na ikinamatay ng dalawa sa mga mamamahayag nito, ang tahanan at transmiter nito sa Brgy. PHHC Seaside, Tacloban. Noong unang bahagi ng 2014, lumipat ito sa kasalukuyan nitong tahanan sa Palo, Leyte, kung saan ito bumalik sa ere.[5][6]
