Parophonus (лат.) — род жужелиц из подсемейства Harpalinae. Виды этого рода сильно напоминают более мелкие виды рода Harpalus. Род палеарктического и восточного регионов. В мире насчитывает 20—25 видов, из которых более десяти обитают в Палеарктике и девять — в Европе[1].
Описание
Надкрылья сплошь в густых точках и волосках[2].
