Supertago
Supertago estas tago kiu aldoniĝas al jaro por ke ĝi fariĝu superjaro. En la Gregoria kalendaro, la supertago tradicie estas la 29-a de februaro.
La supertago por la unua foje estis enkondukita la 6-an de marto 237 a.K. per la dekreto de Kanopo.
Sed la numerado de la tagoj de februaro tamen finiĝis ankaŭ je 28, ĉar la supertago estis 'sennumera' tago, inter la 23-a kaj la 24-a de februaro. Do 'bis'tago, kiel ankaŭ evidentiĝas el la antikva latina indiko: ante diem bis sextus Kalendas Martii. (La sesa ekstra (bis) tago antaŭ marto). Pliposte oni abolis la sennumeran tagon kaj aldonis 29-an tagon post la 28-a de februaro.
En la franca lingvo superjaro ankoraŭ nomiĝas: une année bissextile kaj en la plejmulto de la latinidaj lingvoj ĝi havas preskaŭ la saman nomon.
