Papulo
Papulo (de la latina vorto papula = „veziketo“) laŭ PIV estas "roza, ruĝa aŭ bruna, diversforma, iom elstara lezo de la haŭto".
Papulo laŭ ĝenerala medicina difino ne pli grandu ol pizo (do havu diametron de malpli ol centimetro) kaj povas post saniĝo komplete malaperi, do ne postlasi cikatron.
La ekeston de papulo povas kaŭzi plej diversaj malsanoj - ekzemple mordoj respektive pikoj de insektoj, bakteriaj infektoj, unuĉeluloj (ekzemple la protozooj Leishmania), parazitoj (ekzemple skabio), alergioj aŭ hautaj tumoroj.
Laŭ la lokiĝo ene de la haŭto oni diferencigas papuloj de la epidermo kaj de la dermo.
