Ottó Berg, laŭ hungarlingve kutima nomordo kaj kun plena nomo Berg Ottó Frigyes estis hungara dirigento, helpekzercisto, instruisto. Lia unua edzino estis Erzsébet Bodó inter 1928-1949, la dua estis Mária Dósa.

Ottó Berg[1][2] naskiĝis la 15-an de majo 1895 en Budapeŝto, li mortis la 25-an de majo 1974 en Budapeŝto (la fontodatenoj diferencas kelkajn tagojn!).

Biografio

Ottó Berg studis komponadon kaj orgenadon en Hungara Reĝa Muzikakademio, sed interrompe li batalis dum la 1-a mondmilito. Liaj plej gravaj instruistoj estis Viktor Herzfeld kaj Dezső Antalffy-Zsiross. Li akiris dirigentan diplomon en 1918 de István Kerner. Inter 1919-1925 li estis helpekzercisto de Reĝa Operejo de Budapeŝto, inter 1919-1928 li ankaŭ instruis en muzika gimnazio. Inter 1925-1945 li estis dirigento de la Operejo (li estis ankaŭ dirigento de orkestro de Hungara Radio), poste li estis forigita, ĉar lia patro estis negocisto (ne laboristo!). Li estis korusestro de Preĝejo Ĉieliro de Maria (Belváros), sed inter 1957 - 1959 li estis denove helpekzercisto de la Operejo.
