Nupce

Nupce estas monto en la regiono Ĥumbu de Mahalangur Himal, en la nepala Himalajo. Ĝi kuŝas je nur du kilometrojn OkSOk de la monto Ĉomolungmo. Nupce estas tibeta vorto por "okcidenta pinto", ĉar ĝi ja estas la okcidenta segmento de la montareto Lhotse-Nupce.

Historio

La ĉefa pinto, Nupce I, estis unuafoje grimpita en la 16a de majo 1961 fare de Dennis Davis kaj la ŝerpa Taŝi kaj la venontan tagon de Chris Bonington, Les Brown, James Swallow kaj Pemba Ŝerpa, membroj de brita ekspedicio.[1][2]
