NexGen estas firmao projektinta procesorojn. Estas mirinde tamen unuan procesoron de kvina generacio de arkitekturo x-86 (kun procesor-kerno RISC) lanĉis ne Intel (Pentium), sed malvaste konata firmao NexGen! En marto de 1994 j estis prezentita procesoro Nx586. Tamen la firmao ne sukcesis konkuradon kaj vendiĝis en 1996 j al AMD. La lasta lanĉis en aprilo de 1997 j procesoron K6 bazita sur RISC-arkitektura procesorkerno Nx686
