Medicare
Medicare estas publika asekuro pri malsano en Usono, por la pli aĝaj (ekde 65 jaroj) aŭ handikapulaj ŝtatanoj (ekde 1972). Medicare estis enkondukita en 1965.
Medicare estas parte financita el ĝenerala sociasekura imposto (enspezo de la ŝtato) parte el memkotizo (okaze de pli longa flegado en hospitalo).
La reformado de la projekto estas ĉiam diskuta temo inter la demokrata kaj konservativa partioj de Usono.
