Malkudrilo estas uzata por malfiksi kunkudraĵojn. Ĝi havas forkan pinton. Inter la dentoj de la forko troviĝas akra rando kiu funkcias kiel tranĉilo. Unu el la dentoj estas pli longa ol la alia. Ties celo estas por ŝovi sub la stebero por tratranĉi ĝin. La alia dento estas pli mallonga kaj havas malakran pinton. Per tio oni preventas damaĝojn al la ŝtofo.
