Maldensigo
En tipografio, maldensigo estas tipografia emfazo per pligrandigo de intersignaj distancoj en la emfazata tekstopeco. Ĝi estas uzata anstataŭ kursivo en kompostado de tekstoj per tipara familio kiu malhavas kursivon; ekz-e en la tekstoj gotikaj aŭ ŝavaj, en tajpado ktp. En la anglalingva mondo tiu emafazmaniero ne estas uzata, kaj tial ĝi mankas en pliparto da tekstoredaktiloj faritaj en Anglalingvujo.
Uzante maldensigon oni atentu, ke la spacetojn ĉirkaŭ la maldensigita peco necesas laŭe pligrandigi. En HTML oni povas uzi
<span style="letter-spacing:0.3em; margin:0.3em">...</span>
(kompreneble, pli bone estas solfoje difini tian stilon en stilfolio).
Ĉe maldensigo pure tipografiaj ligaturoj (kiel fi, fl) disiĝas en apartajn literojn; tamen ili povas konserviĝi, se ili presentas grafemon, kiel æ aŭ la gotika ch = /ĥ/ (sed ial ne sch = /ŝ/).
