La Jumanoj kaj Sumaoj estis indianaj triboj el la hodiaŭa provinco Sonora, en Meksiko. La Sumaoj loĝis plej okcidente, dum la Jumanoj okupis la orientan parton de tiu regiono. Ili laŭ variaj raportoj manĝadis fiŝon kaj porkon, sed cetere ĉasadis bizonojn kaj estis elstaraj komercistoj.
La estro de la Jumanoj ekde 1683 ĝis 1692 estis Juan Sabeata. Oni kredas, ke la Sumaoj kaj Jumanoj paroladis lingvon el la uto-azteka lingvofamilio, sed tiu hipotezo baziĝas nur sur kvar identigitaj vortoj kaj kelkaj personaj nomoj : la lingva parencaro estas do malfacile studebla.
