Josef ben Efraim Karo (hebree: יוסף קארו; konata laŭ akronimoj ha-Mechaber kaj Maran (aramee: "Nia Majstro") (naskiĝis en 1488 en Toledo, mortis la 24-an de marto 1575 en Safed) – unu el la plej grandaj rabenoj. Kabalisto vivanta en Safed, aŭtoritatulo en la historio de halaĥo (juda leĝo).

Li estis la verkisto de la Ŝulĥan Aruĥ.
