ISEW
La ISEW estas mallongigo de la angla Index of Sustainable Economic Welfare (ISEW) (~ Indekso pri la daŭriva ekonomia bonstato) kaj ekonomia indikatoro kun la celo, kompletigi aŭ anstataŭiĝi la klasikan Malnetan Enlandan Produkton (MEP). La ISEW estis poste pluevoluigita al Genuine Progress Indicator (GPI).
Kalkuloj
Oni alkalkulas/dekalkulas ĉi-foje ankaŭ la malfacile monigeblajn agadojn tiel:
- enspeza divido
- domlaboro
- sano
- instruado
- aerpoluado kaj ĝenerale mediopoluado
- malpliiĝo de resursoj
- kostoj de la tutmonda varmiĝo
Ĉar ĝi entiras kostojn de la eksternalioj (sekvoj de iuajn agado), ĝi ne estas tro favora por landoj, kiuj ne tro okupiĝas pri medioprotekto.
Historio
La indekso baziĝas je ideoj de William Nordhaus kaj James Tobin kaj ties Measure of Economic Welfare (MEW ~Mezro de la ekonomia bonstato). Ĝi estis enkondukita en 1989 fare de Herman E. Daly kaj John B. Cobb. Pli poste ĝi transformiĝis al GPI, pro pluaj aldonoj.
