Gyula Barsy [djula barŝi], laŭ la hungarlingve kutima nomordo Barsy Gyula estis hungara statistikisto, demografo.

Gyula Barsy[1] naskiĝis la  23-an de majo 1909 (nun 1909-05-23) en Budapeŝto, li mortis la 15-an de aŭgusto 1965 en Budapeŝto.

Biografio

Gyula Barsy maturiĝis en gimnazio en sia naskiĝurbo en 1927, poste li akiris diplomon en Scienca Universitato Péter Pázmány en 1939, sed dum la studentaj jaroj li ankaŭ laboris en la statistika oficejo. Post la diplomo li restis en la oficejo ĝis 1949, sed tiam li jam havis malaltan postenon. Pli poste li laboris en diversaj ŝtataj oficejoj ĝis sia morto. Liaj ĉeftemoj estis statistiko de la demografio.
