En okcidenta regiono "Western Development Region" de Nepalo en zono Gandaki estas distrikto Gorkha. Ĝi troviĝas en mezalta montara regiono. Gorkha ankaŭ estas nomo de urbo. Laŭ tiu urbo la nepalanoj nomas la fortan tertremon, kiu detruis multon en la lando Nepalo la 25-an de aprilo 2015.
