Glano estas frukto de kverko. Ĝi ofte havas kupulon.

En la mezepoko ĝi servis ofte kiel manĝaĵo (la faruno el ĝi) en periodoj de malsato.

Ĝin ŝatas la aproj. Ĝis mezo de la 20-a jarcento, oni paŝtis porkojn ofte en kverka arbaro.
