Fandskorio

Ne konfuzu ĉi tiun artikolon kun Skorio.

Fandskorio estas pli malnova kaj termine ĝusta esprimo por speciala formo de piroklasta sedimentaĵo. Ĝi konsistas el erupciaj laferoj, arde fluantaj, kiuj kungluiĝas ĉe la kratera rando. Tiuj firmiĝantaj kaj “kunvelditaj” laferoj kreskigas la krateron. Ankaŭ la termino ‘’skorio’’ malĝustas kiel la esprimo vulkana cindro, ĉar ambaŭ ne estas restproduktoj de brulado.

En la pli nova terminologio de la piroklasto respektive piroklastaj sedimentaĵoj la veldoskorio apartenas al la vulkanaj aglomeraĵoj, kiuj konsistas el pli ol 75 % el vulkanaj bomboj.
