Estimo

Estimo laŭ esperantlingvaj vortaroj kiel PIV aŭ Reta Vortaro estas kaj la ago estimi, do alte taksi ies moralan aŭ spiritan valoron, kaj la rezulto de tiu ago. Malestimo koresponde estas la ago aparte malalte taksi ies moralan aŭ spiritan valoron.

Estimo ne necese nur temas pri alia persono: En psikologio profunde studatas la fenomeno de memestimo, en ĉiutaga lingvaĵo tamen pli ofte sinonime nomata memfido.
