Empusa (helene Ἔμπουσα, latine Empusa ) estis en la helena mitologio unu el monstroj en Hadesa subtera regno. Ŝi eble estis filino de Hadeso kaj Hekato.
Empusa rolis demonon akompanatan de Hekato, havis kuprajn krurojn aŭ azenajn hufojn aŭ nur unu kruron. Ofte ŝi timigis vojaĝantojn kaj vivtenis sin per la homa karno. Iam ŝi povis ankaŭ sekse allogadi virojn kaj suĉi ilian sangon aŭ elsuĉadi sangon de homoj, kiuj dormis sub libera ĉielo. Ŝi scipovis transformadi sin en vicon da formoj.
