El Ued aŭ en franca El Oued (arabe اﻟﻮادي, signife la rivero) aŭ Ued Suf estas urbo, kaj la ĉefurbo de la Provinco El Ued, en Alĝerio. Temas pri urbo en oazo irigaciita de subtera rivero, kaj de tie ĝia nomo estas El Ued, kio permesas daktilpalman kultivadon kaj la raran uzadon (ĉe dezerto) de brikkonstruado por loĝejo. Ĉar plej tegmentoj havas kupolojn, ĝi estas konata kiel "Urbo de Mil Kupoloj".[1]
El Ued situas je 640 km sudoriente de Alĝero (la landa ĉefurbo de Alĝerio), ĉe la limo kun Tunizio. La loĝantaro de El Ued estis 134 699 laŭ la censo de 2008,[2] el 105 256 en 1998,[3] kun kresko de loĝantaro de 2.5%.[2]
