Bakio, kvazaŭ-ŝaka ludo kreita de Carl Mäsak 2005. Oni ludas per ŝakofiguroj kaj ŝakotablo. El la samaj originaj pozicioj kiel en ŝako, la figuroj sekvas aliajn regulojn. Specialaj bakiaj figuroj estas proponitaj al la Bakademio.
Ekde 2005 okazas mondĉampionokonkursoj en Bakio.
La unua multopa mondĉampionado en Bakio okazis dum Oranĝa Renkontiĝo en Hernusando septembre 2007. Ses nordiaj batalantoj ludis trironde. Tomas Q Nilsson, Hernusando defendis sian ekde 2005an mondĉampionecon. Due venis Magnus Henoch, Gotenburgo kaj trie Carl Kristiansson, Hernusando.
