Arau (ĉine 亚娄 estas la reĝa ĉefurbo de Perliso en Malajzio.
Historio
Geografio-Loko
Arau situas en Duoninsula Malajzio, 14 kilometrojn sudoriente de la oficiala subŝtata ĉefurbo Kangar.
La ruĝ-superkovrita Istana (Reĝa Palaco) estas miksaĵo de koloniaj kaj pseŭd-maŭraj arkitekturaj stiloj. Proksime de la Istana estas la Reĝa Moskeo, kiu povas teni proksimume 1000 devotulojn.
Tiu urbo estas la elŝipiĝa punkto por vizitantoj vojaĝantaj de Kuala-Lumpuro ĝis Langkawi per trajno.
