Akiro

Akiro (de la latina verbo acquirere) laŭ PIV estas

  1. la ago fariĝi posedanto de io konkreta per aĉeto, interŝanĝo aŭ alia maniero,
  2. la ago sukcesi ricevi ion petitan,
  3. la sukceso per propra klopodo havigi al si ies favoron, helpon aŭ alispecan apogon, kaj
  4. la ago havigi al si ion abstraktan per penado aŭ klopodo.

Konkretaj specoj de akiro estas ekzemple

La havigo de Akirita Imuno-Deficita Simptomaro respektive Sindromo (mallongigite AIDS, kiun oni ofte vortigas kiel "Aidoso"), laŭ la supra difino do ne striktasence estas "akiro", ĉar la suferantoj de la severa malsano kutime neniel propravole deziris malsaniĝi. La nomo de la malsano influiĝis de la anglalingva termino pri ĝi: la angla vorto "acquire" pli-malpli identas la la pli ĝenerala esperanta verbo "havigi", kaj do ne enhavas la esperantlingvan signifonuancon mem klopodi iĝi ricevanto de io petita.
