You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Jinapala Alles, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. voorts (talk/contributions) 00:34, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I was not advertising or promoting any content. Instead I was trying to create a new page for a person named Jinapala Alles. A public figure, education specialist who has numerous publications and who worked for UNESCO

Decline reason:

I have just read your deleted draft, and it seems to be promotional. At least, you don't seem to source the claims you make. You won't be unblocked to write this biography. If that is your only goal, this is the end of the line. If however, you want to edit about other subjects, then tell us what they are in your next unblock request. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I respectfully request reconsideration of the indefinite block placed on my account. Over a year has passed, and I’ve had time to reflect on the situation. Recently, I had the opportunity to reconnect with my 94-year-old father, himself a lifelong educator. In our conversations, I was reminded of the profound impact that the individual I was writing about had on the education system in Sri Lanka. My intent was never promotional. The subject of the article is a deceased educator and published author whose contributions deserve to be documented. I have no interest in promoting this individual—only a sincere desire to preserve their legacy in a neutral, verifiable, and respectful manner. I understand and support Wikipedia’s policies on neutrality and verifiability. Since my initial draft fell short of those standards, I would have welcomed the opportunity to revise it and include appropriate sources. I hope you’ll consider this appeal not as a challenge to policy, but as a request for the opportunity to contribute thoughtfully and responsibly. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Decline reason:

This does not convince me you understand what was wrong with your prior edits and certainly doesn't convince me you'll refrain from writing about Alles if unblocked. Yamla (talk) 23:45, 14 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I have reviewed the previous declines from PhilKnight and Yamla, and I now completely understand where my previous appeals fell short. I realize that I was acting as a Single-Purpose Account (SPA) and that my original drafts lacked the required inline citations and encyclopedic neutrality, which understandably looked promotional.

I want to explicitly state that if unblocked, I will NOT attempt to create, recreate, or edit the article on Jinapala Alles myself. If I ever want to propose information regarding that topic in the future, I will strictly use the Conflict of Interest (COI) noticeboard or a relevant Talk page to let neutral, independent editors handle it entirely.

Instead, I am asking for a second chance to contribute to Wikipedia as a broad, constructive editor. I would like to focus on improving existing articles in technical and neutral areas where I have professional familiarity—specifically copy-editing, fixing broken links, and expanding stubs related to software engineering, open-source technologies, and computing history. I understand Wikipedia's core pillars of verifiability and neutrality, and I am ready to follow them across general topics. Thank you for your consideration. This unblock request appears to have been written by a chatbot using a large language model. The purpose of unblock requests is to determine whether you, the human operating this account, understand why you were blocked – not to test a chatbot's ability to tell us what we want to hear. A message written (or rewritten) by a chatbot can also cause you to sound like you're making empty promises. It is better to write the unblock request yourself. Please read through the guide to appealing blocks for more help. voorts (talk/contributions) 22:47, 8 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Describe the types of edits you would like to make if you were unblocked. Please give a specific, concrete example of such an edit. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 11:50, 7 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, the page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/React_Native Implementation section is outdated.
It currently states that React Native communicates with the native platform "via serialized data over an asynchronous and batched bridge." While this was true, it's outdated.
I would update this to explain the deprecation of the legacy bridge in favor of the 'New Architecture', which includes the JavaScript Interface (JSI) which allows for direct, synchronous code execution. Ref: https://reactnative.dev/architecture/landing-page
