Response to Username Concern

Thank you for your message and for pointing out the username policy.

To clarify, ESGasCode is not the name of a company, organization, or commercial service. It is a coined concept I’m personally developing as part of my academic research and advocacy work in the field of FinTech and regulatory technology (RegTech). I am the sole creator of the term ESG-as-Code, and the username was chosen to reflect my individual contributions to this emerging field, not to promote any product or service.

That said, I fully respect Wikipedia’s community guidelines and I am happy to rename the account to something that better reflects me as an individual contributor—such as IsaiahOwolabi_ESG or similar.

Please let me know if that would be acceptable, or I will proceed with a request through Special:GlobalRenameRequest.

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, website, or role, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:
