User:UNC Computational Medicine Program

History

In December 2017, the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill announced the launch of a new program, the Computational Medicine Program. Dr. Charles Perou and Dr. Timothy Elston, two world-renowned scientists, will lead the program. The program was created to leverage UNC’s strengths in computational biology, the basic sciences, and clinical research and make significant medical advances. Computational Medicine Program headquarters are next to the UNC Hospital on the Chapel Hill campus in a 2019 remodeled building named the Mary Ellen Jones Building.
