Timothy (Steven King) born June 03, 1969, in Andalusia, Alabama. Steven King is the only child of William Timothy and Shirley Partridge King of Covington County. Member of the ALGOP State Executive Committee and vice-chairman of the Covington County, GOP.

Education

Graduate of Andalusia High school class of 1987. Then attended Lurleen B. Wallace Community College in Andalusia while a cooperative student for ADEM in Montgomery. Finished his undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama, class of 1992. Went back in 1997, to graduate school for Master's degree in Human Resources.

Work Experience

First major job July, 1987, was a Sales Clerk for Wal-Mart Stores in Andalusia. Later October, 1988, South Alabama Regional Airport til 1992 part-time. While working as a cooperative student from 1988-1990, with ADEM, Field Operations under the CERCLA and RCRA programs. After finishing his undergraduate degree, went to work for Morrison's Cafeteria as an Associate Manager, from 1993-1996, Mobile, Alabama.

Worked in the construction industry with the IBEW, built power plants for PowerSouth Energy Cooperative and Alabama Power of Southern Company

At 35, went to work for PowerSouth, and currently in Operations of hydro-electric and Combined -Cycle power plants


Educational Ties

Contributes and raise funds for LBWCC, and University of Alabama. Active leadership board member at the College of Arts and Sciences at University of Alabama. Active liaison between high schools, to technical colleges and universities.
