Carroll Preparatory Primary and Preschool (CRP) (Thai: แคร์โรลล์ เพรพพาราทอรี่ ไพมะรี แอนด์ พรีสคูล, ) is a private, Primary and Preschool founded by the GEORGE H. CARROLL and PANIADA CARROLL. Mr. Carroll graduated from St. Norbert College, Wisconsin, USA with a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy. He has nearly 40 years of teaching experience, because education is a Carroll family business. Mr. Carroll’s mother ran child care centers in America for over 30 years, and many of the techniques he uses in his Thai classrooms are things he learned from his mother growing up at her day care centers.

Since 2003, Mr. Carroll has been teaching Thai students here in Thailand. He has taught students from temple schools to international schools, and in almost 20 years of teaching at every level in Thailand, he has found the same kinds of problems regardless of the background of the student.

The traditional teaching & parenting methods used in Thailand have not changed much in the past 50 years, but these methods no longer meet the needs of modern life. Many schools have chosen to meet this challenge by becoming even more academic and more competitive. However, Mr. Carroll feels that this approach does not match well with the collaborative nature of Thai culture, and so students and parents often end up stressed out and de-motivated. Therefore, he has developed a unique approach to education that blends home, school and play together in a way that produces more confident and creative students.It is located in Chatuchak District, Bangkok, Thailand and educates students from pre-kindergarten to Grade 6 (P-6).^[1] In 2003.
