INTRODUCTION

Okatana roman parish is situated 5 kilometers eastern side of Oshakati in Oshana region

In Okatana Roman Parish there is a school from grade one to grade ten,grade eleven and twelve is also under construction and a hostel. There is also a hospital which is owned by Roman Catholic church,there is a missionary and a church.

History

Okatana roman parish was developed in 1932 by the german priests and this year 2010 it’s turning 75 years.

About the parish

Under the missionary there are some products that are sold in there such as bibles,catholicans books,rossaries and many more. Okatana parish is one of the main branches of catholic at the norhern side of the country.there are also pastors,sisters and many other people thet are working in the parish.there hospital is big and there are also patient beds .
