Orange cat is an interbreed of orange-yellow, orange-red, and ginger yellow cats

Orange cat is a typical type of interbreed cats. The weight for adult male cats is usually over 5 kilograms, and the weight for adult female cats is usually over 4 kilograms.

Based upon sex-related inheritance, approximately 2/3 of orange cat are male, with a fur color of either all orange or orange and white.[1]All-orange cats typically have light white stripes on their bodies, while only a few of them have white bellies. Orange-and-white cats, on the other hand, have large chunks of orange fur on their bodies over a white base. Generally in male cats there are more all-orange cats, while in female cats there are more orange-and-white ones.

Domesticated orange cats are usually vivacious and like to mew. In their infant period, cats enjoy playing a lot and often act spoilt in front of humans, staying very close to people. Adult cats, though tend to be more composed, still enjoy acting spoilt in front of humans and are even more close in relationship to their owners. [2][3]

Overall, in popular culture, orange cats give people a feeling of gourmets which are especially easy to become plump, and thus need diet controls constantly. It is said in 2012 an animal hospital in America accepted an orange cat whose weight was more than 19 kilograms. [4] In fact, the prototype of the cartooned cat Garfield is a male orange cat.
