Sayed Mahi Shah (born 02 May 1994) is a Pakistani Urdu/Pashto Poet and Singer, born as Mohi ud din Shah. He completed his initial studies in his own village ( Sabir Abad Karak ) in Diamond children acadmey . His father Muhammad Maghfoor Shah is professionally a business man. Mahi was a talented student from his childhood and he won many prices , awards for his great performances on stage during the days of his school and college . He has written many Poems in Urdu,Pushto and in English as well. He started to write Poetry in his very little age when he was in 8th. He has done his matriculation from Wisdom science college chokara karak, and then for F.sc (part Ist) he joined Pearl Model College Mitha khel Karak and then for (Part 2nd) he migrated to Shaheen children academy and college of sciences Mitha khel Karak. Later he joined National university of modern languages (Peshawar) as a literature student. Besides poetry he is a good singer. Initially very much influenced by an Indian singer Sonu nigam that's why he himself is known as Pakistani Sonu Nigam. But latter on he was attracted towards many voices like Jagjit singh, Kumar sanu, Muhammad Rafi, Nusrat Fateh Ali khan, Asad Amanat Ali khan,Udit Narayan,Anup Jhalota,Kishor kumar,and many more. In Pashto music various Inspirations were there like Khyal Muhammad, Fayaz Kheshki, Karan Khan, Ahmad Gul ,but specially an Afghan young Singer Shafiq Mureed.

Mahi Shah used to sing since childhood at the age of six, but his actual career as a singer started in the last months of 2012 with his first Pashto single Song " Ajeeba Ghunde Janan" penned by Arshad Moin Khattak. In the next year 2013 he came up with an Urdu song " Melny Ko Aaja Mujh Se " penned by Bismillah khan.
