Sandeepmdas is a trained Egyptologist, working as a curator in the Cairo Museum, now on deputation with the Supreme Council of Antiquities, a researcher-in-house for the National Geographic Society, and currently supervising and appraising several excavations which are going on in Egypt. His favorite read: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, a short story by James Thurber.

Sandeep Mohan Das is a trained IT specialist, esp. in Java, COBOL and VC++. He is working as an IT manager in the Indian arm of a small US-based company. He lives in Kerala, South India, along with his wife Jaya and an ultraportable lap-top son tentatively named Jithu who was born on 19 January 2006. Sandeepmdas loves reading everything, especially about Egyptology. A member of EEF since 2000, he is also interested in technology, photography, traveling, driving and day-dreaming. His favorite books: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty by James Thurber, all Márquez and all Asterix comics.
