I am a current BIS(HONS) Multimedia student at the University of Pretoria.
Modules
This semester I will be working on:
INY711 Research methodology (15 credits)
Identifying valid research questions and finding answers for them. This module elaborates on the methods used gather, analyse and interpret information to reach a valuable conclusion. Critical thinking and critical reading, literary reviews and data gathering techniques are some of the topics that are covered.
IMY761 Applied multimedia (30 credits)
A year module which explores multimedia implementations.
IMY771 Multimedia Trends (15 credits)
An overview of multimedia in the past. Upcoming trends in the industry and advancements in technology.
IMY777 Animation theory and practice (15 credits)
Explores the principles of animation and the history of animation. Roles in the animation industry. Animation methods and techniques ranging from traditional animation to computer animation.
IMY772 Hypermedia and mark-up languages (15 credits)
Adaptive hypermedia systems and modeling the data that they use. This module explores different hyper linking models, structuring data and markup languages.
