Alastair Sharp also wrote scripts and storylined for the Australian TV series "Prisoner". He wrote a wide range of children's and young adult television pieces for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation,including "Hedgerow House" for which he was nominated for an "AWGIE" award. For over 20 years he worked for the National Theatre Drama school in Melbourne, both teaching and writing theatre pieces for drama students.
