Rodney Marshall is the son of former television and film scriptwriter Roger Marshall. As a freelance writer he is best known for his bestseller, Subversive Champagne, a 2013 study of the Emma Peel era of the 1960s British television show The Avengers, published by Amazon. He has also produced a full length study of Ian Rankin's Rebus novels entitled Blurred Boundaries: Rankin's Rebus (Amazon, 2012). His fiction includes a factionalised account of Nazi attrocities, Wolf's Hook and a short novel about boarding school, entitled The Walled Garden. Born in South London on 23rd February 1966, he is married with two children, Jessica and Tomas. He is a football fan, following Chamois Niortais FC (France, Ligue 2).
