Ram Paul Gulrajani (BSC Hons, RGN, RSCN, A&E cert, Resp Dip, COPD Dip) is a pretty ordinary bloke, husband, father and now grandfather.

From Gibraltar originally and residing in the UK since 1985. This may be why the tag is Rockape65

Ram loves languages and is bilingual in both English and Spanish which is always very useful.

Ram has been a nurse for many years and worked in various hospitals and also spent 5 years working with AstraZenecca as a nurse specialist. Ram also spent a brief period in the repatriation of patients from abroad. He is a service manager for specialist services in community services.

Ram specialised in paediatrics, Accident and Emergency as well as specialising Respiratory care. He is also a nurse prescriber.

He has published articles and has an interest in writing books with topics on: COPD inhalers change management Pleural effusion among others.

His main professional accolade is being the recipient on the Nursing Times innovation in your speciality award 2007 for the service he created. This was treating patients with mesothelioma in the community rather than in hospitals. This involved draining patients pleural effusions in the pleural space of the excess fluid produced by the condition. This allowed patients to remain at home, reduce excess admissions and enable a better patient journey.

Ram has also won local and regional awards.

He also lectures in Respiratory management and has been a driver of first class services in West Essex for many years.

When not working or spending time with the ever-growing family, Ram writes fiction or creating art. Watercolour or acrylic mediums mostly used.

With 10 books published and more in the pipeline. First book was Legally Lucky[1] which was based on lottery winning aspirations.

What would happen to you and your world if you won big? It examines, love, life, money and friendship... a pretty deep but graceful story with the message of live life, appreciate what you have and do not waste time waiting for a chance happening with poor odds in your favour. The true treasures probably lay nearer home than what you may think?

Phobic Wars [2] was close to home and is a sci-fi / love story. It involves cockroaches, Ancient mythology - Atlantis, ghosts and science. It is a cocktail of a tale and has a moral to it... Treat nature with the love it deserves because there are consequences.You need a bit of patience to get to the true grit of the book but it will engage you.

Next came the Mental Dental (Murder by Proxy) incarnations in English[3] and now in Spanish[4] . If you have an issue with dentists, then do not read these. The hero of the book is a lady dentist and the book encourages you to suss out the murders as it progresses, so can you solve these? Helping Jessie Stack may not be as easy as it initially seems...

The follow up to this was Obsession of the Damned[5] which takes thee reader on to a different ride but yet , full of mystery and intrigue with the twists and cliff hangers Mental Dental (MBP) started.

Hilarity in the Hills[6] was a foray into comedy and based on a true holiday that now has become "mythology" in the authors household and extended family. If it could go wrong it did... so Vive la France!

Having worked in so many hospitals and shared so many nights with coffee and sleep deprived story telling, these were a natural progression. Ghosts, Ghouls, Haunted wards, Mad monks and floating nuns, they can all be found in these books. The Phantasms in the Infirmary series [7][8][9][10] are special, the first was co-written with, Julie, the second was Ram's and the third incorporated both plus a little more from additions on Ram's website and Facebook pages.
