Protests in Cuba
Events have occurred in Cuba since early February of 2020. Protests have occurred in various places in the country in demand for freedom. When three little Girls were killed in Old Havana by a balcony falling on them bigger protests occurred including You Tube videos showing Old Havana's decaying buildings by the residents of these crumbling buildings. On March 12 history was made when protesters in Santa Clara demanded freedom and liberty when dealing with the Cuentapropistas who were threatened with the loss of their privileges. They marched and protested in front of the offices of the Mayor and Communist Party Municipal Committee for Santa Clara in demand for answers and miraculously members of these institutions spoke to the Protesters. Even more miraculously not a single Police Officer or member of a CDR {Committee for the Defense of The Revolution} came to break up the Protest and enforce Communism. This is the first loss in defeat for the Cuban Communist Party {PCC} in what is a fight for freedom that has made the dream of a Free Cuba or Cuba Libre a reality.
