I'm a 54 year old (2016) male living in Waterbury with my husband and be friend, Anthony and our two fur babies named Midnight and Mischief. In 2012 I was diagnosed with stage 3a male breast cancer. I had a radical mastectomy which included removal of 14 lymph nodes, my left nipple and surrounding tissue around and beneath the nipple. I should add that seven (7) of the lymph nodes were positive for the breast cancer. I tested negative for the BRCA 1 and 2 genes. I was diagnosed with early stage prostate cancer in early 2016. The doctors have recommended active surveillance on it. It's early and not an aggressive cancer.
