I am a research scientist working in neurobiology, with a few publications in peer-reviewed journals. I have worked on studies in adipose tissue biology, addiction neurobiology, neurotoxicology, and neurodegenerative disease. I contribute to Wikipedia to improve public understanding of cell biology topics. Sometimes, I create new reaction schematics or upload some of my own images from older microscopy experiments.

My Interests
Goals on Wikipedia


Overall, my goal is to improve accuracy, clarity, and accessibility of cell biology topics for students, researchers, and the general public. Recently, I have been working on creating articles related to monoaminylation. One of my major future goals on Wikipedia is to clean-up many of the articles listed as post-translational modifications by adding infoboxes and mechanism/reaction schematics for students to use. I will be doing this as a member of WikiProject Molecular Biology.

These are some of my own images from older microscopy experiments that I uploaded for edification purposes, as I can't really use them for publishing. Usually, these images are from reagent optimization experiments (ie., testing antibody or dye concentrations) and therefore they don't really go anywhere but my hard drive.
