My user page - first stab at it: Location - Ottawa, Canada About me - retired. Former Quality Manager with Bell Canada, doing field trials and end to end tests for internal Operational Support System changes. Now a writer (novels), trombonist, grandfather, photographer,social activist. Used to be quite involved with promoting graffiti mural work as a tool to re-engage youth in a community and prevent unwanted tagging. Still linked in. Finally - why Ravensview? I was interested in aboriginal stories, especially those that included a trickster, such as Loki, or the Raven. I liked the mix of inquisitiveness and playfulness, the sense of humour. That was my style. Plus, in my younger days, my hair was quite dark. So - on a number of forums and pages that needed an alias, I was Ravens. Hence, my views on things, via writings and photos, became Ravens' View. And, tying it together more, my first two novels, mysteries, have elements of First Nations culture, several characters are Anishinaabe, or Ojibway, and the main antagonist is a Wendigo.
