Chris Reavell (Born Christopher Reavell, London, England) is a British Railway preservationist, mainly with electric multiple units of the former Southern Region of British Rail in the south of England, independent artist and modelmaker.

Railway Preservation

Reavell became heavily involved with helping preserve electric multiple unit trains from 2011 onwards with several groups. He has assisted in his capacity to preserve and restore examples of electric multiple unit for preservation, notably the sole surviving example of the 4Cor 'Nelson' belonging to the Southern Electric Group, Class 419 MLVs, a 2EPB and a CEP Kent Coast EMU of the EPB Preservation Group.

Reavell has also supported in a consultative and active capacity to other preservation bodies such as the Network SouthEast Railway Society and recently the Suburban Electric Railway Association.

Personal life

Reavell currently lives in South East London and is not married.

His enthusiasm with railways has led extended his passion to model railways and having constructed several layouts, and he is also a member and with the Beckenham & West Wickham Model Railway Club.

He previously worked for Transport for London.

He has autism and suffers from anxiety, recently defending his many frequent profane-laced outbursts on depressive bouts and mood swings.

He also frequents painting, walking and occasional photography.
