Pro-Copy was started in 1988 by owner Mark Whitehouse after a long history working within the Perth (Western Australia) music industry.

Initially starting as a high quality audio cassette tape duplication business (Using Kaba R&D duplication system)catering for the local music industry it has evolved over 20 years to become Perth's biggest and most diverse multi-media business. Clients are now Nationwide and International and Procopy continues to follow the latest trends in media copying and product dissemination including strategic website developemnt. It is classed as a Small Business under the ATO guidelines,

Customers include Music, Corporate, Government, Education & Domestic. First started in Noranda, Western Australia it moved next door to Planet Sound Studios in 1989, staying in Subiaco until 1995 when it moved to the first of 3 buildings in Morley. The 1st premises at 12 Dewar St. was soon outgrown as the company grew it's services to include blank audio cassette manufacture, computer audio editing (Using the world class Sonic Solutions system) and supply of Media (BASF, TDK and Ampex) as well as it's duplication facilities. Along the way it aquired the first CD Recorder in Perth - the APEX CD recorder made by a division of Philips Electronics. (At a cost of around $16,000 and blank CD recordables a mere $48 plus sales tax)

In 2001 the move was made to the second Morley premises at Morley Commercial Centre. This was the first Procopy to include audio and film studio capabilites, expanded video editing capabilities (Using AVID professional systems) and DVD Authoring using the Sonic Solutions DVD Creator system.

Early 2007 saw a move to the current premises in Boag Road where the business it has expanded its developmant of interactive Web applications and continues to develop the audio restoration and film and video transfer services. CD and DVD replication continues to be a large part of the business with an emphasis on packaging ideas and fast turnaround to service Western Australian, Australian and International clients.
