Atmosphere Model
Yes, I agree that there are two different meanings of "atmosphere model," one that refers to a "static" model, and another that is meant to be predictive. However, "standard atmosphere" is not the correct term to apply to either of these, but rather is (essentially) the name of a specific (static) atmospheric model, the US Standard Atmosphere (or alternatively the related international standard). Feel free to clarify the difference between the two (static vs. predictive) on Atmospheric model. Alternatively, you or I could make Atmospheric Model a disambiguation page, and point to, e.g., "Atmospheric model (static)" and "Atmospheric Model (dynamic)." I'll add a "otheruses" on Atmospheric model as well. Have a better idea? MFago 14:38, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
