Luc Schuiten is a Belgian architect, urban designer, and artist, and creator of design fictions born January 8, 1944 in Brusselles.

His work is heavily influenced by ecological themes, and his design fictions revolve around built environments that are grown of trees and other living plant matter. He has written and illustrated books detailing his vision for the environments in books, available only in the original French.
