Bikey Agarwal
Born in Mangan, North Sikkim, India, Bikey Agarwal is a versatile stand-up comedian, actor, director, and independent filmmaker. He co-founded Sikkim's first comedy club, "Hasais Katle", aiming to provide a platform for aspiring comedians in the region.
Early Life and Education

Agarwal spent most of his childhood in Mangan, North Sikkim. He completed his schooling from North Sikkim Academy (Mangan) and later pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Gyan Jyoti College (Siliguri, West Bengal) from 2010 to 2013.
Career
Agarwal began his journey in comedy by co-founding "Hasais Katle," Sikkim's first stand-up comedy club, in December 2018. His breakthrough came when he participated in "Comedy Champion" Season 2, a highly popular Nepali comedy reality show. Out of over 8,000 applicants, he secured a place in the finals, finishing as the runner-up.
Following his success, he took on the role of director for "Comedy Club with Champions," a Nepali stand-up comedy and talk show. Later, he went on to host Nepali's first roast show "Amma Kassam Yhaa Dukhcha". The show was known for its witty and unfiltered discussions, where guests openly shared their experiences and opinions in a fun and engaging way.
He also co-directed the highly popular show "Comedy Darbar" along with his wife Shraddha Prasai. The show was well received by the audience for its humorous sketches and engaging content. The first three episodes of the show managed to secure a spot in the top 15 YouTube Nepal's trending list.
Beyond stand-up, Agarwal is also an accomplished filmmaker. He has produced, written and directed numerous short films which were screened across various film festivals, winning him accolades and recognition. His short film "The Forbidden Gumpa" has garnered international attention, being officially selected for screening at the prestigious Los Angeles (USA) film festival. His 2019 film "Mohan ra Madan", which explores the romantic relationship between two men as they navigate societal challenges to embrace their love, is noted for being Sikkim's first LGBTQ+ themed film.
