History


How it all started

While playing in the League of Legends ranked solo queue ladder, Mid lane player dRianXnOeh met and befriended his highschool classmate MsMath, an AD Carry player. Shortly after connecting, their mutual friend |JKRowling introduced to them to Ako Si Kaizeh and MsMath`s cousin AnCienTzHell. Together with jigoku hen, another highschool classmate, they played 5v5 games.


Formation of Manila Matikaz

It was a hot weather when the anonymous team invited knightfly to play for a 5v5 game, knightfly`s debut game is an AD Carry, using Miss Fortune. Playing like a Doublelift mechanics, knightfly caught the team`s attention. Thus, becoming the new AD Carry player for the anonymous team. Jigoku hen moves to substitute and the other 4 comfortably swap their roles.

August 04, 2013, MsMath`s 19th birthday. The team decided to play rank team queues. The line up must be AnCienTzHell, dRianXnOeh, MsMath, knightfly, and jigokuhen. Due to his girlfriend`s demand, MsMath was replaced by |JKRowling. The result, the line up is AnCienTzHell will be on Top, dRianXnOeh on Jungle, |JKRowling for mid, knightfly as the AD Carry and jigoku hen playing support. They named the team Manila Matikaz or MLMZ because they idolize the PH team Manila Eagles.


Probationary period

After the 2 straight wins of the team. MsMath was now able to play for the team. The line up is

  • Top: AnCienTzHell
  • Jungle: dRianXnOeh
  • Mid: MsMath
  • AD Carry: knightfly
  • Support: |JKRowling

after a game, AnCienTzHell moves as a substitute and Ako si Kaizeh played Top for the Manila Matikaz. The team went 5-0 for the probationary period. Moving to a frustrating league Silver I. The team continue to play until the end of August where they`ve stop because of educational commitments.


Acquisition of Manila Matikaz

Despite they`re busy, The team captain MsMath created the team BOGO Strikers with same line up. AnCienTzHell and |JKRowling swap their roles to fit for the team.
